What happens when you are stranded at home with a kid with chickenpox? When he has happily agreed to watch a Barbapapa DVD and you have gathered all your lime green fabric scraps to make a few bunny cushions? Your iron dies. Sigh.
Well, it was old, but it has been a good companion, my mother's auntie bought it for me for my first home. I guess it was about time for a new one anyway! Any good tips? I've sen irons with a narrower top and am thinking that might be good for ironing quilts and such. A long cord is also on the wish list, I want to be able to walk around with my iron :)
I had promised my daughter do something crafty with her yesterday so we decided to paint some tins and make pots for our small geranium babies. Aren't they pretty? Big E chose white geraniums for her pots, little e wanted red ones for his! Now we just have to keep them alive!
I hope your Monday is going more according to plans than mine!
