Inspired by our Mother's Day walk and Malka's mini quilt Monday project I started the week by making this little quilt. Lovisa is now taking a stroll in the Spring forest full of wood-anemones. The birches just got green, we call the small leaves "mice ears"! The little quilt is in the shop!
We had a very nice day yesterday, we packed some lunch and drove to Ruissalo, which is an Island right outside Turku, known for its wonderful nature and the amazing wooden villas from the beginning of last century. They used to be Summer residences for wealthy people, but are now mostly owned by corporations.
I wish this veranda was mine... But I am also very happy that this area is open to the public and that the kids can ride their bikes really fast in this beautiful nature and historical miljeu.
