Today they arrived! My first Spoonflower fabrics. The apples are great, but the Spring tree is perfect! Sadly I didn't order more than a fat quarter of it so I will have to think before I start cutting in it. It would make a beautiful Summer dress for my girl so I will have to order more later. Each tree is 11 cm (4 1/4'') high. The background is off-white.
The apples are more orange than the original, but I can live with that, colours always change in the printing process. One apple is about 3cm (1.18'') wide. I'm not sure what to do with it yet, but both fabrics are quilting weight cotton so I want to combine them with other fabrics, hopefully I will have more sewing time next week...
I have put the fabrics up for sale at Spoonflower, the more they sell of my prints, the cheaper it gets for me to buy more of them, so I guess it's a good deal.
I've spent a lot of time with little e this week, he had some problems breathing, was huffing a lot and got us worried so we've seen the doctor and got some medicine that seems to help him. Today they xrayed his lungs just to make sure he is OK. We've got asthma in the family so it might be that, I just hope it doesn't get worse and that it will disappear with the flu season. I'm so ready for Spring!!!
I hope your little guy is feeling better soon!
Ps. The tree fabric is fab!

I sure hope that little E will get better very soon - and that he doesn't have Asthma. He looks so fine with his dog in his arms. I sure send him my very best wishes. :))(Breathing problems are not funny at all - both my son and I have Asthma.)
Your fabric turned out beautifully - I knew that it would. :)

Ahh poor thing. My two had troubles with breathing when they were little. My youngest is 4. It looks as if he is finally growing out of the croup issues. I hope the same happens. It's so scary when they can't breath well.
Ps. Love the fabric.

Thank you Krista! Little e feels better, I just put him to bed. I forgot to mention that the teddy is his big sisters, she was so kind to lend it to him when he felt sick and tired :) x Kajsa

How exciting to see your drawings/creations in fabric!!! Congratulations! I hope things take a turn for the better with Little e. My son got croup a lot when he was little and it was very frightening for all of us. He looks so angelic sleeping there with his teddy.

I hope your little one gets better. We are so sensitive to breathing issues in our home - I'm forever watching for indrawing at the first sign of a cold!

Thank you Kirsten! No nebulizer yet, I hope we wont need it! The med we got is in fluent form. The blue sled is the best form of transport really and it keeps me in some sort of shape when I cant use my beloved red bike! We have so much snow that the car keeps getting stuck everywhere...
