And some more material love! I did a little swap with Milja at a fair I was selling at last weekend and got this lovely 100% ecological yarn. It is made from waste from a factory that produces clothes from ecological cotton and hemp. The quality reminds me of linen. I was going to give it all to mum for mother's day, but I think I will have to keep one skein for myself. I would like to make one of these, wouldn't it be pretty in bright colours?
Milja also makes these amazing ecological dish clothes under the label Kierti.
Be sure to take a look if you're in Finland, the site is in Finnish only
at the moment.
I got something else in the mail today too, be sure to check back tomorrow on Thursday if you want to see what it is and maybe participate in a give away!
i love the teacup and teapot fabric; have not seen it before. i love your creativity; it's so comfortable.

Well, I divide my monthly 'allowance' into small chunks so I can get a fabric hit most weeks.
I'm really into handsewing at the moment, which means I'm running out of fabric more slowly too, which helps control the buying impulse!

For the WEEK? Can you buy fabric every week? Now you got me jealous :) I couldnt resist the teapot fabric even if I try to stay away from novelties because I rarely find a place for them in my work.

I love the fabrics! I, too, just received the Robert Kaufman Metro Cafe Teapot fabric in the mail last week and am in love! I can't wait to see what you do with yours :) Happy sewing!

Lovely colour scheme - I really want some of that tea pot fabric all for my own, but I've just bought my fabric allowance for the week!

De är fina! Jag gick idag först till gym och därifrån till loppis och fyndade små virkade dukar och dragkedjor. Dukarna ska bli blommor... Här är en, som väntar på din utställning!
