There is so much talk about me and my book all the time, so I would like to take the chance to present the lovely blogs that I am visiting during my two week long blog tour! I will tell you a little about my connection to the blogs I've visited this week and will be back early next week to present the blogs that are still left on the tour list= still 5 more opportunities to win a copy of my book!
- November 22nd – LucyKate Crafts
- November 23rd – Whip Up
- November 24th – PeikonPoika
- November 25th – Patchwork Pottery
- November 26th – All Sorts
Someone asked what you need to do to win a book -- all you need to do is to go to one of the blogs above on the dates listed and leave a comment to be in the draw to win a book. If you would rather buy it you can get a signed copy in my shop. Scandinavian Stitches is also available on Amazon.
Now lets talk about Fatquarterly, this bright new star on the quilting sky! FQ is an eZine that you should give yourself a subscribtion of for Christmas! It's stuffed with inspiration: patterns, clever ideas, Interviews! I think Tacha contacted me the day I posted the first picture of my book cover last Spring and asked me if she could do an interview with me for FQ. Of course she could, thanks so much for asking!
My next stop was a Rashida's blog I heart linen, as many of you know I heart linen too. She combines her linen with the loveliest fabric candy, just look at that delicious stack of pincushions! She has written a book with zakka inspired projects that you need to check out: I love patchwork. I have known Rashida on-line for quite a long time and she has such a great sense of humor! I hope we will be able to meet one day, I would love to see her doing "the Scandinavian running man" ;-)
Since I went on-line with my sewing hobby that slowly became a business there has been many people who has taken the time to follow my work and have been incredibly supportive. Jacquie from the Tallgrass prarie studio is one of them! She always seems to find the time leave me an encouraging comment! I don't know where you find the time, but I know it means a lot to me! Thank you ♥! Jacquie is an avid quilter and is also writing a book, so stay tuned for that! The selvage quilt above is one of my absolute favourites of Jacquie's creations!
My heart took a little jump when I spotted this tomte stuffie when I was browsing through my contacts pictures on flickr. Christina had got her hands on an early copy of my book and didn't hesitate to whip up a tomte. So I was very happy when she agreed to join the blog tour and show people that the projects in the book are quite easy to make, not only nice to look at!
Now my time is running out, I will have to go and take care of my booth at the fair I'm attending this weekend! I will make a little appliqué project from the book today and present it to the public, wish me luck! Will be back with pictures later!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I was so honored to be asked to join in on the tour. I have followed your blog from the moment I first found out about craft blogs and have always loved and drawn inspiration from it. I think it's only fitting that you are now published for us all to enjoy in another medium. Scandinavian Stitches is a beautiful book full of wonderful projects and I look forward to having my own copy on my shelves. I know I will be making lots of projects from it!
