Those of you who are quilters might have seen my face in the latest issue of American Patchwork&Quilting? I was thrilled when they wanted to do an interview with me for their Global perspective column, it brought my quilting to a whole new level ;) I felt a little off spirit this morning and it kind of helps to get back on track again to take some time just to look at this magazine page. Why is it so much easier to focus on all those things that need to be done and want to be done than to stop for a minute and be happy for all the things you have achieved? Are you like that too?
It is my turn to work at Hantverkargården (a craft shop run by a collective of crafters that I joined in December) tomorrow so I made a couple of apple cushions to take with me, I need to fill up my shelf in the shop! I decided not to put any writing on the cushions this time, it was kind of hard, but I think they look more graphical and less cluttered this way.
And here is another shot of the cushion in my new surrounding :) I will show you my corners when I have had the time to organise it all, it might take months, but I can live with it, one step at a time.
Hieno homma Kajsa! Ostin kirjasi käsityömessuilta Treelta ja sitä aina tasaisin väliajoin nautiskelen lukiessa. Iloinen olin puolestasi myös huomatessani haastattelun siinä tilkkulehdessä! Keep up the good work!

I haven't seen that mag yet - great news for you! Your new apple pillow is fantastic and it looks great on that white sofa!

congratulations Kajsa. I have to tell you that your book was reviewed in my embroidery magazine. The magazine is called simply ''embroidery'' and is published by the British embroiderers guild so i would say you are very ''important'' to be in there!!

I'm very happy today because I ordered your book last night :o)

very lovely pillow...i agree, more graphical without writing, it looks right at home on that modern sofa! I am pretty much snowed in, with 2 toddlers...so I'm a bit stir crazy. I have a bunch of things to do, including some raw edge applique quilt work but I just can't get myself to start! ahhh procrastination :(

This is so sweet! I do love the graphic look, but I always like to use a little text too. Congrats on the interview!~
