Tadaah! My blog has got a sponsor, which I am very proud to present to you today! I use A LOT of buttons for my pouches and tend to run out of kitty eyes and Helsinki-buttons. That is when I turn to Kirsty, she always has all the colours I need in her colourful Etsy supply shop BigFish.
And if you have always wanted to know where to get wool felt, you can stop looking, she has a felt shop too!
If you didn't already run away shopping I am very happy to tell you that we are having a fishy give-away today!!!
"We are giving away a fat stash of Wool Felt Sheets in 7 colours to celebrate the new range of Wool Felt for sale on Etsy in FuzzyFish.etsy.com and also a 50g bag of assorted Bright Buttons from BigFish.etsy.com!" Yum!
If you would like to win, please comment on this post and tell me what you would make if you won the loot! I will choose the winner next Monday!
My daughter is away for the first time at a university quite far away from home. The felt would make a fabulous patchwork pillow for her to snuggle up with as she studies and maybe she would miss home a little bit less.
Love your site and your book. Your designs are fresh and charming and make me itch to pick up needle and thread.

Hi Kajsa, that's lovely news. I spent a couple of evenings this week trying to find something like that on Etsy, but never was I that lucky to find BigFish's items! I want to make a Christmas felt bullterrier, I have seen quite a few made of polymer clay, but not from felt yet, and I thought that could be a cute handmade gift for my boyfriend that at the same time wouldn't look way too sweet and girlie. Thank you and following your future posts with delight,
Dina

Hi Kajsa,
Firstly thank you for the lovely previous post on the felt creations. It made me smile to see those lovely organic shapes in such rich colours and textures. I particularly loved the food/growing theme as I have been thinking recently about how much good food means to me and the opportunity to reconnect with where our nourishment comes from...the earth.
I have been hunting out lovely buttons to make hair clips and bands to use as gifts or to fundraise for our local church community. I was disappointed that I didn't find many in second hand shops, as I remember doing as a child.
As for the felt I can easily imagine beautiful christmas adornments or tiny toddler slippers...but after seeing all those wonderful treasures at Sirkka Kannusmäki's Felt flower shop, I would hope I might be inspired to try something new and adventurous instead ?! :)
Thank you for sharing your creative journey, I don't regularly comment, but do sneak over to your page when I need something to lift my spirits.

I love your book, it inspires me to do..to make..stuff. These felts would be great too. Thanks for the encouragement. I think little bird ornaments are needing to be made with these lovely colours and they can have button eggs...my bird has been busy doin the same of late, being spring and all...it's quite sad that I have no mate for her though (I am thinking about how to change that for next Spring)

Kiitos pitkästä viestistäsi! Minäkin olen Naisten joulumessuilla, siellä on aina kiva tunnelma!

Hey quilters I need some solidarity. My favorite niece is a quilter extraordinaire and she also contributes heavily to breast cancer – one of her companies, “Save the Tatas”, gives over 100,000 per year to this important research. Please vote for her as she can even donate more money to this cause at http://pinkwell.org/ if you do, by winning the Ellen DeGeners Award. It is Breast Cancer awareness month and it’s something all of you should be paying attention to! Thanks for your help!
