I must be under the influence of Spring sun or something, it is after 9 p.m. at night and I am feeling inspired and still up, awake and making things...
I have dug into my vintage/second hand fabric stash to make a collection of word cushions, these are the first two! And, most importantly, I got to use the neon thread the very kind Ulla sent me, I felt foolishly excited to finally try it out :) I hope the sun keeps shining tomorrow so that I can get a better shot of the neon. I also hope that the inspiration intends to stay over night, it would be quite cool to fill the couch with dream, love, laughter and... Which word would you like to have sitting on your couch?
I, too, have the same fabric as your "love" pillow! It is a set of sheets my mummu had. I have wondered if I should make something out of them (they are stored away right now) but haven't found the right project. :)
Your blog is beautiful and makes me want to come to Finland again!
A Finn in Canada,
Tanya

Hahaka Keri! I do love your suggestions! I will have to stick with the positive and encouraging words, personally I would love the get your butt off me, but I dont think it would go with the happy brand Ive built :)

So cute. My husband insists on sitting ON the cushion ON the couch - that habit really bugs me. So, I would have to say a phrase: "get off me!" or "get your butt off" or something along those lines.
Seriously tho', what about "hugs" or "cuddles" or "snuggle" or "joy" or "happy" or "sunshine"...any words with a positive and warm connotation.

That one was good Clare! I guess many people would need a get up cushion on their couch :)

How fun! What did you make? My sister brought that fabric from Switzerland, she likes to go flea market shopping for me!

Thank you! In Swedish spring means run, so that pillow might also appeal to the sporty type :)

Thanks Sally, some cushions are longer than others :) xKajsa

I like 'happiness' but it would be a long cushion. :-)

"Spring" (which also indicates 'jump' in Dutch) would be cute for sitting on a couch & would also suit your enjoyable designs very much! Very nice inspiration on your pictures!

I have the same print that your "love" is on. One of my favorites!
